Have you heard of this "cake smash" photo trend?

Is it cute? Is it weird?
I can't decide.

I'm normally against food smashing.
I hate wedding cake smashing photos.
Food fights are gross.
Pie eating contests where people can not use their hands? Not my style.

But this seems -- I don't know -- less disturbing for some reason.
